Cavoli, along with his delegation.During the discussions with the high-ranking American military official, Minister Vengu addressed the regional situation, emphasizing NATO's continued strong support in Kosovo and its Euro-Atlantic path, as well as the need for a unified response to destabilizing rhetoric and disinformation campaigns by third-party actors in the region.Minister Vengu expressed his gratitude to General Cavoli for the vital support that the United States provides daily in the efforts to modernize Albania’s Armed Forces and strengthen its human capital.

2024 Budget adjustments, Minister Vengu: Enable the implementation of some important investments in Defense

During the argumentation in the Parliamentary Session on the Normative Act for some amendments and additions to the law "On the 2024 Budget", the Defense Minister Pirro Vengu stated that this act gives great support to the Defense Budget, creating conditions for the implementation of a significant number of priorities and investments.

Minister Vengu highlighted the transformational decisions of the Albanian government in favor of civilian and military personnel, through salary increases from 7% to 22%.
