From July 1, salary increase by 30%, Peleshi: Dignifying treatment promise kept

Starting from July 1, all military personnel of the Armed Forces will receive a 30% salary increase. The news was announced at a press conference by Defence Minister Niko Peleshi, after the meeting of the Council of Ministers.
“Today we have made an historical salary increase and I am very proud of it. I am also very grateful that the promise of the Prime Minister has been implemented. All military personnel from the lowest to the highest ranks from July 1, based on the decision of the Council of Ministers, will have a 30% higher salary, which means the minimum wage in the Armed Forces is more than 51000 ALL, added an additional payment of food treatment and other treatments according to difficulties.”, - explained Minister Peleshi.

Tour of emergencies awareness meetings, Defence Minister Niko Peleshi starts from Korça

Defence Minister Niko Peleshi, accompanied by the Director of the Civil Protection Agency Haki Çako has started from Korça a tour of meetings with the structures of Civil Emergencies, mayors and prefects that will continue throughout the country. Defence Minister Niko Peleshi participated in the meeting of the defence ministers of the North Atlantic Alliance countries that was held at the NATO headquarters in Brussels. The discussion focused on further strengthening the Alliance and the continuation of support for NATO partner countries, at a time when Russian aggression in Ukraine has passed 100 days since its launch. The meeting was attended by the Ministers of Defense of Ukraine, Georgia, Sweden, Finland, as well as the High Representative of the European Union.

Defence Minister in an official visit to Greece, Peleshi: Mutual security challenges, we are intensifying our cooperation

Defense Minister Niko Peleshi is paying a two-day visit to Greece with the invitation of his counterpart Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos. The conversation between the two ministers was centered on the current security challenges, with a particular focus on the situation in Ukraine, the potential consequences on regional security, the Euro -Atlantic integration process, and the mutual commitments within NATO and regional.
