Eleven new pilots will join the Air Force after completing the Officer's Basic Course "Military Helicopter Pilot". At the graduation ceremony, the Defence Minister Niko Peleshi stated that, this is a proof of our Air Force growth and empowerment, part of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania.

30 officers of the 2nd Contingent from the Land Forces, officers of the Commando Battalion (from the Special Operations Regiment - ROS) leave for Kosovo to serve as part of the KFOR mission. Defence Minister Niko Peleshi, present at the dislocation ceremony, appreciated this special moment due to the fact that these officers are going on a mission as representatives of the country in the efforts of the NATO Alliance to serve security and peace.
