Deputy Minister Koçi: The number of women who represent us in NATO Headquarters and military structures is tripled

The National Association of Retired Officers in Albania organized an event on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the First Officer Course in Albania. Deputy Defense Minister Petro Koçi, who was present at this event, thanked all the ladies participating in the activity for the promotion of military women in uniform.

No minister of any political force has ever been seen in Selica village after the '90s. Residents of the remotest village of Burrel, with the most urgent demands, such as the road that connects them with the rest of the country, welcomed Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka, who gave them the news of road construction.
The village residents while thanking the Minister for the interest shown for the problems of Selicë village expressed their gratitude for the attention given to them.
The Government determines the criteria and the amount of financial aid for AISM employees

A civilian employee of the Agency of Intelligence and Defense Security is now more legally protected not only as an individual but also his family as well. This protection comes from the decision of the Council of Ministers "On the determination of the criteria and the amount of financial benefit in cases of death, illness or disaster for civil servants of the Agency of Intelligence and Defense Security". This decision that follows the proposal of the Ministry of Defense is part of the obligation to complete the legislation for the functioning of AISM.

The Albanian Naval Force troops on mission in the Aegean Sea save the lives of 100 Syrian migrants

Thanks to the professionalism of "Oriku" crew, on mission in the Aegean Sea, 100 Syrian citizens were rescued, including 39 children and 16 women.
According to information from the Naval Force Command, Syrian citizens, were sailing from the Turkish coast towards the island of Chios in Greece. The immigrants were spotted by “Oriku” crew, which one according to the procedure alerted the mission commanding ship, as well as the Turkish and Greek Coast Guard.
