Fires in the country, Deputy Defence Minister from Ksamil: Those who destroy nature will face penalties

The Armed Forces and all structures of the Ministry of Defense are engaged alongside the local government in extinguishing fires in various areas of the country. After almost eight hours, the hearth of fire in Ksamil hills was isolated. The operation was attended by Deputy Defence Minister Dallëndyshe Bici, who inspected the terrain and congratulated Gjirokastra RSD effective and the fire brigade.

59 cadets of the Armed Forces graduate, Peleshi: The Armed Forces Academy, equivalent diplomas with the academies of NATO member countries

59 cadets, 13 girls, and 46 boys successfully completed the Training Course for Young Officers, which lasted 37 weeks.
The graduation and oath ceremony was attended by Defence Minister Niko Peleshi, the Deputy Defence Minister Dallëndyshe Bici, the ChoD Major General Bajram Begaj, the Deputy ChoD Major General Manushaqe Shehu, deputies, commanders of forces, as well as military attachés.


In his greeting speech, Defence Minister Niko Peleshi assessed that the successful completion of this course is a well-deserved encouragement and highly motivational for these young people, the youngest officers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania. Minister Peleshi emphasized that it is one of the aims of MoD to give a new vision to the military education system, turning this system into a laboratory for processing theoretical military thought, while the fields, shooting ranges, and training grounds, into experimental practices.

Cadet Pilots start flying practice, Peleshi: After 15 years we are forming pilots within our capacities, AFA the best choice for high school graduates

Twelve Second Lieutenants who are attending the Military Pilot Course at Farka Air Base started flying practice with helicopters that serve for the training process.

The cadets started flying practice after successfully completing the theoretical phase.
The Defense Minister Niko Peleshi, was also present at the first flight of the cadets, accompanied by the Deputy Commander of the Air Force, Colonel Ylli Pulaj.
Minister Peleshi considered this event as a very important one and in addition to increasing human capacity, he also emphasized the increase of aircraft capacity.

The presentation of the findings for the collection of illegal weapons; 15,401 illegal weapons are destroyed at the Gramsh Plant

15,401 small and light weapons confiscated or collected through ongoing awareness campaigns were dismantled at the Gramsh Plant.
The process was inspected by the Defence Deputy Minister Dallëndyshe Bici, Deputy Home Affairs Minister, at the same time Chairman of the National SALW Commission (Small Arms and Light Weapons) Besfort Lamallari, members of the National SALW Commission from various institutions and independent agencies, embassies’ representatives.

Officers' courses completed, Peleshi: Soon the lectures will be held in English, and AFA according to the West Point model

Seventy-five officers of the Albanian Armed Forces and the Kosovo Security Force completed rank promotion courses at the Armed Forces Academy (AFA). The Albanian military members attended the Senior Officer Course (SOC) and the Command and General Staff Course (CGSC) for about a year.

The graduation ceremony was attended by the Defense Minister Niko Peleshi, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces Major General Bajram Begaj, the Deputy Chief of General Staff Major General Manushaqe Shehu, the Commander of the AFA Brigadier General Albert Mullai, commanders of forces, etc.
