Special Force and Commando Courses come to an end. Xhaçka: New investments in Land Force, committed to a professional Army

49 young military members completed the Special Force and Commando courses, thus becoming members of the two elite units of our Armed Forces.
Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka, at the special ceremony on the completion of the courses, considered our Commando and Special Forces to be as skilled as their colleagues from the most developed NATO countries.
Naval Force novelties during 2020

Following the termination of its three year contribution on the Aegean Sea, the Naval Force has planned new engagements for 2020, this time on the Adriatic and Ionian Seas.

By 2020 Air Force will be equipped with 3D radar

The increasing of the operational air surveillance capabilities is one of the Air Force priorities for 2020.
Air Force Deputy Commander Colonel Editson Zarka explains that the installation and the deployment of 3D radar is a major project that started in 2017 and will culminate this year.
2020, the year of readiness for Land Force

The Land Force announced 2020 as the year of readiness, taking into account exercises, engagements in missions, and training of servicemen.
Land Force Commander, Brigadier General Albert Mullai made known this year’s objectives of the force he is commanding, starting from the improvement of conditions up to the education and training of servicemen.
Brigadier General Albert Mullai emphasized the modernization of the Land Force in order to bring a direct impact on the working conditions of servicemen. "The main objective of the Land Force for 2020 is to modernize the Force as a whole, but with a major focus on significantly improving living conditions and training conditions of servicemen."
Xhaçka inspects the reconstruction work: 233 families damaged by the earthquake will have soon their new dwellings

233 families that were affected by the 9/21 earthquake in Durrës, Shijak, Kruja, Kavaja or Rrogozhina will go soon in rebuilt dwellings. Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka inspected the work done for some of these facilities in Manëz and the former swamp area in Durrës.
“Our commitment is that no citizen will be left without a home and that no dwelling will remain a pile of rubble. 2020 will be the reconstruction year”- minister Xhaçka stated.
