"Albanian Effort 19" completed, Xhacka: Such exercises build the power of the Alliance

"Albanian Effort 19" brought together around 800 effectives from Albania, the US, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Croatia, Poland, Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia and Kosovo. In seven days, military representatives from 12 Allied and Partner Countries showed what is the source of power of the largest political and military Alliance in the world, part of which our country is a member for 10 years.

Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka in a video - message noted with pride that this is the first exercise where planning and logistical support was entirely carried out by the Albanian Armed Forces.

First day of school, Xhaçka accompanies Major Tanushi's sons: We are close to every AAF staff

Serxhio and Klesio, the two sons of the Major Tanushi, who felt in the line of duty in Latvia, were accompanied on their first day of school, by Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka.

Minister Xhaçka, together with their grandparents, kept the promise of always standing by the family of the military, who lost his life some time ago, during the NATO mission.

Millions of dollars of investment and hundreds of projects have significantly modernized the Albanian Armed Forces culminating in the upcoming NATO Air Base in Kuçova. The attention that the United States of America has displayed to Albania has been very significant in the last two years.

At a ceremony attended by US Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Leyla Moses Ones, Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka awarded Defense Attaché Office (DAO) and the Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC), the Medal of Appreciation, praising the US contribution in the Security and Defense.

"Albanian Effort 19" Military Exercise starts with even greater involvement of Allied and Partner countries

Albania hosts the military exercise "Albanian Effort 19" with even greater involvement of Allied and Partner countries than before. 

Troops and vehicles of the Armed Forces from Albania, the US, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Poland, Bulgaria and Northern Macedonia will train for one week in Biza base in order to test crisis intervention capabilities and to improve interaction among allies and partners in joint operations.
