Albania celebrates 11 years of NATO membership

11 years have passed since Albania joined NATO. It is a historic day for all Albanians. A day when Albania became a member of the largest military alliance in history. Therefore, today I want to express my gratitude to all those who have worked so hard to make this aspiration of the Albanians a reality. I would also like to thank all the allies, especially the United States of America, who believed in Albania and welcomed Albania to the ranks of allies.

Birthday at virus time, Minister Xhaçka's special congratulation to the military on duty

Major Bledar Bimaj, the Commander of the Military Police Operation in carrying out government measures against COVID-19 has had a different birthday this year.

Major Bimaj's colleagues surprised their Commander. He blew out  the candles of his birthday cake placed on one of the AAF armored vehicles .

The Commander of the Operation Unit in the capital was also congratulated by Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka, who posted on her Facebook account the video of his colleagues' surprise.

Minister Xhaçka expresses gratitude: Hundreds of young ladies, women, and doctors of the AAF in the front line against COVID-19

In addition to army personnel men, in these difficult days there are also hundreds of young ladies and women of the Albanian Armed Forces on the streets.

Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka thanked them by posting photos of their daily work patrolling in the community. They are advising citizens to respect protective measures to help the non-proliferation of COVID-19.
