The Armed Forces open the road from Bogë to Theth

After more than 5 months of being closed, the road from Bogë to Theth in the Municipality of Shkodra became crossable.
The Support Command vehicles and effectives, with the support of the Shkodra Municipality, fully unblocked the 22 km of Boga to Thethi tourist area route.
The thickness of the snow in a given part of this road reached up to 5 m due to the geographic position and the accumulation of snow because of wind.

The Ministry of Defense joined this weekend the action of the Municipality of Tirana for the greening of public spaces by planting 4,000 pine saplings near Prush Lake.
Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka, congratulated Mayor Veliaj for the model he has brought to the Municipality of Tirana, giving a valuable contribution for the future generations.

121 new soldiers joined the Albanian Armed Forces, meanwhile 135 others successfully completed the 10-week training for advancement 256 new soldiers sworn and were certified after attending Basic and Advanced Exercises at the Troop School in Bunavi.

In promoting the third volume of the "Scanderbegas through years" series, Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka valued the co-operation with ex-Scanderbegas as very important.
According to the Minister, such co-operation would help in achieving the Armed Forces objectives, such as reforming, educating, and training the effectives.

The Albanian Military Air Force celebrates today 67 Years of its foundation. Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka during her speech at the special ceremony organized at the Air Force Command, considered as a priority of the time, reshaping this force in the framework of the reform of the Armed Forces.
"Under today's conditions, assessing the new security situation in the region and beyond, we have selected the best for our country by developing the Air Force and vehicles of dual mission: protecting sovereignty, what is more sublime, but also assistance to every Albanian in difficulty. Even in the last three years, our AF effectives have assisted in saving the lives of more than a thousand people in emergency cases," - declared Minister Xhaçka in her speech.
