Albania 9 years in NATO, Xhaçka: We are an active part of any of the Alliance operations

On the 9th Anniversary of Albania's Membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka confirmed the political will of the Albanian Government to support any NATO decision and to be an active part of any operation.
On the occasion of the 9th Anniversary of Albania’s NATO Membership, Minister Xhaçka, Chief of General Staff of Albanian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Bardhyl Kollçaku, members of the Parliament, Force Commanders and Attachés of allied countries were in the premises of the Special Forces
Battalion and Commando Battalion in Zall - Herr.
Minister Xhaçka described NATO as the largest Political and Military Alliance of the time and the Albania's membership in it was a culmination point and an extraordinary historic achievement for our country.
Xhaçka in Izmir, surprise visit to the "Butrinti" vessel on mission in the Aegean Sea

Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka paid a 24-hour visit to Izmir, where she met 21 seamen of the 7th Navy contingent, part of the NATO operation in the Aegean Sea since January this year.

Today, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ditmir Bushati and Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka closely inspected the flooded areas in the district of Shkodra. They have looked closely at the situation in the Administration Units of Dajç, Ana e Malit, Shkodra Municipality and Jushi Mountain, and Vau i Dejës Municipality.
During the conversation with the residents, Minister Xhacka said that, in coordination with the Emergency Headquarters, the Prefecture and the Municipality we are doing their utmost to keep the situation under control.
