Promotion of the book “The stars of the generals” of the military researchers Vangeli Kasapi

This morning, in the hall of the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), it was promoted the latest book of prominent military researchers, Dr. Vangel Kasapi, “The stars of generals”, a publication of the Publishing House “Botart”. In this cultural event attended the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Jeronim Bazo, generals and other senior officers of the Ministry of Defence, General Staff, TRADOC, military historians and many other guests.

The promotion of the book was implemented as a discussion about values and messages conveyed through characters, generals and senior officers of the military leadership in more than a century of Albanian state, seeing and assessing them in the historical and political context of the time or period they have worked.

Conclusion of the Armed Forces Soccer Championship

The Military Police team is champion of the Armed Forces.

For five consecutive days, in the sports complex of the Training and Doctrine Command, it was held the Armed Forces Soccer Championship, an event which was organized by the Ministry of Defence and General Staff of the Armed Forces.

According to the approved schedule, there were held matches between the 8 participating teams of the main structures of the Armed Forces: the Land Force, Air Force, Naval Force, Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Logistics Brigade, Regional Support Brigade, Military Police and Support Regiment. The matches between these teams highlighted not only the spirit of competition, the high physical and technical-professional preparedness, but also the spirit of cooperation, respect and fair play between the players, military and civilian personnel of our Armed Forces.

Celebration of International Museum Day

This morning at the premises of the Armed Forces Museum took place a special ceremony on the occasion of the “International Museum Day”. May 18 was designated as International Museum Day in 1977, with Resolution no. 12 of the International Council of Museums (ICOM).
The Armed Forces Museum aims to foster understanding and assessment of the Albanian Army’s history to the national and international public, and encourage dialogue between citizens and militaries, on the past, present and future of the Armed Forces.

Children of military personnel visit the National Museum “Gjergj Kastrioti Skënderbeu”

In the framework of the International Museum Day, the children of military personnel, part of the visual arts courses organized by the Recreation Sector of the Directorate of Activities and Relations with Community, at the Centre of Culture, Media and Defence Publications, visited the National Museum “Gjergj Kastrioti Skënderbeu” in Kruja. The director of the museum and its employees accompanied and informed the children and families of the military personnel about the war and glorious deed of our National Hero.

Celebration of Flower’s Day

In the framework of the World Environment Day, in the Ministry of Defence, the Centre of Culture, Media and Defence Publications, organized today an event entitled “Flower’s Day”, with the participation of the children of the militaries attending the art classes at the Recreation Centre, CCMDP.
Initially, the children of the art courses at CCMDP created floral collage in the main square.
