Retirement Home in Tirana received presents by MoD

In the framework of festive season Defence Minister, Mrs. Mimi Kodheli and a group of military men paid today a visit to the Retirement Home of Tirana. She gave to the elderly people living there, presents in clothing and other useful materials worth of 300.000 ALL.
Mrs. Kodheli on that occasion wished them Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Four villages of Kushove Commune (Gramsh) and six villages of Berat now served from a “Bailey” bridge built up from AAF

Defence Minister, Mrs. Mimi Kodheli and the Minister of Energy, Mr. Damian Gjiknuri inaugurated the “bailey” bridge in Kushove Commune (Gramsh Municipality).
The bridge was built up by the AAF and now it is to be used from more than 3000 residents coming from Gramsh and Berat villages to ease the intercommunication in the area.

Minister Kodheli:You, Albanian commandos should commit yourself in the framework of the “Resolute Support”, alongside our allies and partners for a safer world for us and our children.
It was held today at the Air Force Command in Rinas the departure ceremony of contingent of Land Forces, to Kabul, Afghanistan, Commando Battalion who will act in the framework of the “Resolute Support”.

Staff Sergeant Arsino Demiri, Armed Forces’ best NCO of the year

It has turned now into tradition the selection of the best non-commissioned officer of the year in the Armed Forces. For this purpose, a special ceremony took place at the central square of the garrison “Skenderbej”. The ceremony was attended by the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Jeronim Bazo, Force commanders, directors and senior militaries of the Ministry of Defence and General Staff, commanders of support units and personnel of the NCO corps.

The law “On Military Discipline in AAF” has been passed by Parliament

During Today’s sesion of Parliament has been debated and passed the law “On Military Discipline in AAF”.
The address of Defence Minister Kodheli to the Parliament argues the reasons of introducing that proposal. The proposal aims to better shape the MoD and AAF activity.
