Major General Özkan Ulutaş concludes his role as KFOR Commander, Minister Vengu hosts a meeting in his honor

Defence Minister Mr. Pirro Vengu, held a special meeting with Major General Özkan Ulutaş as he concluded his duties as Commander of KFOR. Minister Vengu thanked Major General Ulutaş for his excellent work as KFOR Commander, while also wishing him success in his new role in Turkey.
Minister Vengu inspects construction of the multifunctional building at the Special Operations Unit in Zall-Herr

The Special Operations Forces in Zall-Herr are set to soon have a new multifunctional center, with construction already 80% complete.
Defense Minister Pirro Vengu, accompanied by U.S. Military Attaché to Albania, Captain Eric Cote, recently inspected the progress. The project, which began in April 2023, is on track to be finished by June next year.

The EOD Platoon, part of the XV Contingent attached to the NATO Enhanced Forward Presence Multinational Battalion Group in Latvia, played a key role in the certification exercise "Silver Arrow - 24," successfully completing all assigned tasks.
The joint exercise "Dimali-24" between the Albanian Armed Forces (AAF) and the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) concludes

A total of 395 troops from the Southern Infantry Regiment, along with 58 vehicles and a platoon from the Kosovo Security Force, participated in the "Dimali - 24" exercise, held from September 23-26.
The exercise, conducted in the Arshi Lengo area of Gjirokastër, focused on testing the operational capabilities of the Albanian Armed Forces in deploying and executing defensive combat operations, as well as their interoperability with other forces.

Defence Minister Pirro Vengu welcomed Lord Stuart Peach, the UK's Special Envoy to the Western Balkans, during a high-level meeting in Albania, as part of the Joint Military Exercise "Austere Wolf - 24."
Both Minister Vengu and Lord Peach praised the exceptional collaboration between Albanian and British forces during the "Corridor VIII Response" exercise, underlining the growing partnership between the two nations.
