A total of 239 young men and women have been chosen to take part in the Basic Individual Training Course, marking their initial step towards becoming members of the Armed Forces. At the send-off ceremony, Defense Minister Pirro Vengu praised the recruits for their courageous choice of a path that requires dedication and sacrifice, calling them a source of inspiration for everyone.

2024 Budget adjustments, Minister Vengu: Enable the implementation of some important investments in Defense

During the argumentation in the Parliamentary Session on the Normative Act for some amendments and additions to the law "On the 2024 Budget", the Defense Minister Pirro Vengu stated that this act gives great support to the Defense Budget, creating conditions for the implementation of a significant number of priorities and investments.

Minister Vengu highlighted the transformational decisions of the Albanian government in favor of civilian and military personnel, through salary increases from 7% to 22%.
