Following meetings in Durrës and Shkodër, Defense Minister Pirro Vengu met with the mayors of Lezhë district to announce the opening of applications for Civil Defense projects. Also present were Justice Minister Ulsi Manja, who is the Socialist Party’s political delegate for the area, Lezhë Prefect Gjergj Prendi, AKMC Director Haki Çako, and the mayors of Lezhë, Mirditë, and Kurbin.

The Council of Ministers approved the draft law titled “On the Organization and Functioning of the Reserve Force in the Republic of Albania.” The law sets out the rules for structuring and managing Albania’s reserve service, defining the rights, duties, and responsibilities of citizens, state bodies, and private entities involved in mobilization.
