Defence Deputy Minister Koçi participates in the NATO Defence Ministers meeting in Brussels

Defence Deputy Minister Petro Koçi participated in the NATO Defence Ministers meeting that was held in Brussels on 26 - 27 June. This meeting is of particular importance to the Alliance, which continues to advance on adaption of its agenda, on collective defense, on burden-sharing, crisis management as a result of the unstable security environment.
The Defense Ministers addressed and shared the same views on Russia's behavior and violations of the Intermediate Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty, the need for continued efforts to strengthen collective defense, intensify the Forces' readiness and the mobility of troops in the area of responsibility of NATO's Supreme Commander in Europe.

Personnel Recruiting Center Celebrates 12th Anniversary of Creation, Petro Koçi: Human Capacity Our Priority

Personnel Recruiting Center (PRC) one of the most important structures in the Armed Forces, celebrated the 12th Anniversary of its creation. A ceremony was organized at the premises of the Ministry of Defense.
Attending the event, Defence Deputy Minister Petro Koçi, besides thanking all the staff for the hard work, he stated that the center will continue to be modernized with more modern and faster application systems serving the military. He also paid particular attention to the development of human capacity of the Armed Forces, which he considered a priority.

Gjirokastra, AAF test the emergency response capability

For three days, officers of Gjirokastra Regional Support Detachment tested their response capabilities to assist the population in cases of natural disasters.

In the coded training "Gërhoti 2019", RSD troops improvised extinguishing the fires on difficult terrains and urban areas, the evacuation of people from earthquake ruins and the provision of first aid.

US helps the AAF with firefighting equipment, Xhaçka: from today we are more prepared

The US European Military Command, through the US - Embassy in Tirana, donated to our Armed Forces fire equipment of $361k value. Armed Forces begin the construction of a Bailey bridge in Mirdita

The Engineering Battalion of the Support Command began work on the construction of a Bailey bridge in Jezull village. The new bridge, which will be about 25 meters long and will have a load capacity of about 45 tons, is being built in cooperation with the municipality of Mirdita, which has previously built its concrete legs.

The construction of the bridge will significantly facilitate the movement of 1,150 inhabitants of the villages of Jezull and Sheshaj, in the Administrative Unit Rrëshen and villages Prosek and Rrushkull of the Administrative Unit Kthellë.
