144 new recruits departed to the Troop School in Bunavi, Vlora. At the official departure ceremony at the Personnel Recruitment Center, Deputy Defense Minister Petro Koçi told the new recruits that they would not be a common part of the Public Administration but they would join one of the structures that in every survey comes out as most beloved to the public and to the people.

On the eve of the beginning of the new school year, the employees of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces joined the initiative of the Albanian Red Cross to assist these children. After the completion of the first tunnel in 2017, the military members engaged in this operation have managed to clear about half the surface of the second tunnel.
