The DECI initiative gathers Chiefs of Staff in Tirana at its seventh conference

Chiefs of Staff of Italy, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro and Albania met in Tirana at a conference in the framework of the Defense Cooperation Initiative (Initiative DECI). Its purpose is to increase cooperation and add the contributions to the Alliance and the European Union.

144 new recruits departed to the Troop School in Bunavi, Vlora. At the official departure ceremony at the Personnel Recruitment Center, Deputy Defense Minister Petro Koçi told the new recruits that they would not be a common part of the Public Administration but they would join one of the structures that in every survey comes out as most beloved to the public and to the people.
Help for orphaned children, Xhaçka: Military personnel has a small salary but a big heart

The Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces Museum opened their doors today for 100 orphan children. On the eve of the beginning of the new school year, the employees of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces joined the initiative of the Albanian Red Cross to assist these children. They donated school bags and supplies.
Towards the complete clearing of Selica hotspot in Burrel

Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) company members and Support Command Engineer forces of the Armed Forces are still working to clear the second tunnel of Selica in Burrel. After the completion of the first tunnel in 2017, the military members engaged in this operation have managed to clear about half the surface of the second tunnel.

Our Naval Force ships of Butrinti and Orikum conducted a three-day Joint - Exercise at the estuary of Vjosa - Gram and Vlora Bay, with “FGS RHEIN”, NATO’s Standing Mine Countermeasures Group 2 (SNMCMG2) flagship, part of the German Naval Force
The purpose of this exercise was to increase the interoperability between ships and crews during different sea conditions.
