Recruitment campaign, Kodheli: The AF needs educated young people

In the framework of officer recruitment campaign, a recruitment promotion activity took place today.
The event was attended by the Minister of Defense Mimi Kodheli, Chief of General Staff, Brigadier General Bardhyl Kollçaku and the Commander of TRADOC, Brigadier General Manushaqe Shehu.
During this activity, the Minister of Defense, Mimi Kodheli addressed the participants talking about the opportunities offered by the Armed Forces for Career and Education in developed countries.
In the premises of the Land Force in Zall Herr was held the ceremony of handing over of the first 6 armored vehicles donated by the US government worth 300 thousand dollars. Parts of the armor vehicles package there are 248 vehicles worth 12 million dollars, where Albania will only pay the costs for transportation and maintenance of these vehicles. The Minister of Defense, Mimi Kodheli, Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces, Brigadier General Bardhyl Kollçaku and US Ambassador to Tirana, Donald Lu were present in this ceremony.
The ceremony of taking over the office by the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Bardhyl Kollçaku was carried out at the premises of the Ministry of Defense.
Today in the premises of the Presidency took place the oath ceremony of the new Chief of Staff of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania, Brigadier General Bardhyl Kollçaku.
The Defense Minister Mimi Kodheli recevied today an appreciationnga letter from US Ambassador Donald Lu.
